Events & weddings

Dear Artist “ Special Guest”,
Welcome to “Made in Pistoia”! This year’s “Blues Festival” has something special for you! All dressing rooms and “backstage” areas have been decorated with genuinely handcrafted items and art from local artist & craftsmen.
The first edition of “Made in Pistoia” will take place alongside the Pistoia Blues Festival 2008 with a fair dedicated to showcasing the province’s excellence in producing genuine, high quality goods and worldwide distribution.
The fair will be located inside the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Duomo. In the spaces of this ancient courtyard, rich in history and art, the area’s finest quality products have been placed on display: sophisticated handmade goods, nursery plants and typical fine food products.
The project aims is to showcase everything Pistoia has to offer for the artists, journalists, organisers and special guests of the Blues Festival whose commitments during the concerts leave them no time to discover the city.
The project is therefore an ideal demonstration of local arts, crafts and flavours, providing a complete image of the province of Pistoia as a fascinating area just waiting to be discovered.

We hope you enjoy the exhibit, and that the decorations “backstage” stimulate you artistically and meet your level of standards and quality.

Sincerely,
Renita Cameron
